  1. Rough draft of "Alexander" fictional narrative due tomorrow
  2. Follow the COMPOSITION STYLE SHEET
  3. Include repetition, sensory details, a new paragraph for each new time (morning, recess, etc.) Your paper needs to be 1 1/2 -2 pages double spaced.
Tuesday, August 31
  1. Final Copy of "Alexander" fictional narrative due tomorrow
  2. Follow the Composition Style Sheet
  3. Make sure to include final copy, rough draft with revisions, peer editing, brainstorm and yellow checklist STAPLE to your COLORFUL, NEAT BORDER POSTER BEFORE CLASS TOMORROW for a party point.
  4. Frequently Misspelled Words 21-40 test Thursday

  2. Signed portion of Welcome letter due Friday
  3. Rough draft of Dear Me letter typed OR written neatly due tomorrow. Each paragraph should be about 6-8 sentences. Make sure you add sensory details within your letter.
Thursday, August 26
  1. Study 1-20 of Commonly Misspelled Words for test tomorrow
  2. Signed portion of Welcome letter due tomorrow
  3. Final copy of Dear Me letter following the Composition Style Sheet typed due tomorrow. Final Copy, rough draft, brainstorms all together.
