1. Unit 8 vocabulary pages 91-93 and highlight unfamiliar synonyms and antonyms for tomorrow
   
2. Select a serious, debatable topic for your persuasive essay. Make sure there is enough information for three supports.
   
3. Record your sources.
   
4. Verb packet #1 pages 2&3
   
5. Reading Log due Wednesday with all signatures, summaries, and page total
   

Tuesday, January 12

1. Unit 8 vocabulary page 102 and 103 "Synonyms and Antonyms" and "Choosing the Right Word"
   
2. Reading Log due tomorrow
   
3. Continue gathering information for your essay.  Again, make sure you have 3 clear, distinct supports.
