  •  section of your binder or a separate binder for Language Arts
  •  binder paper- you will need this all year
  • colored pencils, regular pencils and highlighters
  • Post-Its (large)
  1. DUE FRIDAY-signed portion of Welcome Letter. Make sure you keep the rest to refer to throughout the year.
  2. TEST NEXT TUESDAY-Study words 1-20 of the frequently misspelled words.
  3. If you take your name tag home to decorate, don't forget to bring it to class for the first two weeks.

  1. DUE TOMORROW-Write a letter to yourself about what you expect this year to be like as well as any goals you have set for yourself. FOLLOW THE COMPOSITION STYLE SHEET.  Bring an envelope in which to place your letter with the brainstorming, rough draft, and revisions. The body of your letter should be about a quarter of a page double- spaced.
