- Typed rough draft of Ulysses essay conclusion DUE TOMORROW-explain how Ulysses' weaknesses outweighed his strengths or how his strengths outweighed his weaknesses and then include a universal message about the topic and a text to world connection that will keep the reader thinking about the topic of leadership. If you find a suitable quotation about leadership, you might also include this as a powerful conclusion to your essay.
- Review your chapter and plan what each panel should show for cartoon project
Tuesday, December 2- Final copy of Ulysses essay typed following the composition style sheet due Thursday
- Attach rough draft(s) behind final copy as well as all other pre-writing/brainstorming
- Page 3 of comma packet #1/think of two possible ways to include direct address in your cartoon
- Fill in procedures 1 and 2 on cartoon project assignment sheet
- Page 78 "Word Associations" for review 4-6

- Work with partner to decide which panels of cartoon will be close up, panoramic, or bird's eye view.

- Continue working on Ulysses cartoon project which is DUE NEXT FRIDAY. Decide where you will place your similes, metaphor, hyperbole or personification in the narration or dialogue of your cartoon chapter.
